Warming Winter Bath by Cositas Bonitas Botanicals

Warming Winter Bath for Circulation

Winter is a time of year when days become shorter, darker, and colder. As the dreary days call
you inward, it’s the perfect time to embrace deep relaxation, along with keeping circulation and
vitality when our lives are naturally more sedentary. Aligning your life with winter energetics (link
to winter blog) is important for maintaining optimal health. One of the best ways to do that is by
allowing your body time and space to replenish its energy stores. This bath soak blend is perfect
for restoring your vital energy, taking time to reflect, and warming your body with winter herbs
like ginger.

Step into a rejuvenating experience that will help you live your life in line with the seasons.
Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup epsom salt
  • 1 cup pink himalayan salt
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • ½ cup ginger c/s root (not powder)
  • ½ cup lavender flowers
  • 25 drop lavender essential oil
  • 5 drop ginger essential oil
  • 5 drops clove essential oil

How to make a bath soak:

  1. add the salts and baking soda into a large mixing bowl (make sure it’s a bowl that is okay to get some essential oils on it)
  2. mix well
  3. add in the essential oils and herbs
  4. mix well
  5. Store in glass jars
  6. add ¼ – ½ cup to your bath
  7. If you don’t want to have to clean up a mess in your bathtub afterward, you can put your mix in a muslin or organza bag.
