Hip Strip Block Party

Join Herbalist and owner of Meadowsweet Herbs Elaine Sheff for a free neighborhood herb walk!

Join us for the second annual Hip Strip Block Party! Fun, Food and Festivities for the entire family! Food Bank Benefit - bring a non-perishable food item for entry! The Funky Fashion Show starts at 6:30. Live music by Andrea Harsell, Chris Lane, Bridge Builder, Unlikely Conspirators, Mudslide Charley, Secret Powers and Reverend Slanky. Kids Activities including face painting and a bouncy house. Meet at the Meadowsweet Herbs booth for a neighborhood herb walk at 3 pm. Get a free Meadowsweet mini herbal or homeopathic consultation from 2 to 5 pm. Mark your calendars, grab your family and join us - hope to see you there!

The 8th Annual Montana Herb Gathering: No Plant Left Behind

August 1 - 4, 2008

Located at the Hyalite Youth Camp, 18 miles South of Bozeman, Montana in the Gallatin National Forest.

The MHG is an opportunity for herbalists and enthusiasts to meet, confer and have a great time in celebration of the plants! The MHG offers classes for the beginning student to the advanced herbalist. Returning this year will be the Tea Kitchen, Silent Auction and The Botanical Ball! Classes are many and range from Chinese medicine, medicinal mushrooms, herbs for kids, herbal first aid and so much more!

This year they are pleased to offer three extra 6.5-hour intensives on Monday Aug 4th. Join the MHG and their distinctive presenters for special in-depth classes designed to engage and entice even the most experienced herbalist, continuing education opportunities are rarely this approachable or fun!
