Have you been wanting to take our in-depth program in herbal medicine but just can’t make it to Missoula? Well, this fall we will be offering Herbal Foundations in Bozeman, MT!
Discover the healing properties of medicinal plants – a special and unique part of our world. Herbal Foundations is an in-depth herbal studies program for the serious herb student.
New this Year: CEU’s for nurses and chiropractors!
This continuing nursing education activity was approved by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Herbal Foundations has also been approved by the Montana Board of Chiropractors.

DATES: Saturdays and Sundays
September 17-18
October 15-16
November 19-20
December 17-18
TIME: 9 am – 4 pm
LOCATION: Will vary depending on the class
COST: $595 if registered by August 31, 2011, $650 if registered September 1st or after.
Includes more than 50 hours of instruction, all handouts and herbal medicines made in class. Contact us for payment options.
The Program
HERBS FOR THE BODY SYSTEMS: Respiratory System, Cardiovascular System, Nervous System, Reproductive System, Kidneys & Bladder, Liver & Digestive System, Skin, Muscular Skeletal System, Lymphatic System, Immune System
MEDICINE MAKING: Herb drying & processing, Herbal formulating, Capsule making, Tinctures, Cough syrups, Salves, Herbal oils, Teas, Poultices, Liniments, Hydrotherapy
ALSO: Wildcrafting Ethics, Intro to Aromatherapy, and Herbs for Children
Students will complete Herbal Foundations with a full natural medicine chest created by their own hands, as well as receiving a certificate on completion of the course.

I would be interested in news letters and any up coming class that might be available for ceus for massage therapists,I am thinking anything that would be approved for nurses would be exceptable for massage and body workers! Thankyou Christine
Hi Christine,
I tried to get CEU’s for massage therapists in Montana and this is what I found: the Montana Board of Massage Therapists does not preapprove any class for CEU’s. You would have to TAKE the class and then submit it for approval. Kind of backwards, I think, but there you have it.
